The healthcare landscape is evolving rapidly, and startups in neurology are at the forefront of revolutionizing care for millions of patients. 

Today, NeurAL is proud to launch the 2026 Call for Applications for its Startup Studio funding.

Build from the ground up with world-class support

This program aims to de-risk early-stage projects that have not yet been incorporated but show strong potential to address significant medical and technological needs in neuroscience or mental health.

By joining NeurAL, you’ll gain access to a thriving innovation ecosystem anchored within the Paris Brain Institute, one of the world’s leading neuroscience research centers. Over 12 to 18 months, you’ll receive hands-on support to validate, structure and launch your startup.

Who should apply?

We’re looking for research projects that bring innovative solutions in:

Therapeutics (drug discovery & delivery)

TechBio & AI-powered biology

Diagnostic devices & biomarkers

Medical devices applied to the brain

Digital health & neurotechnology solutions

The projects we’re looking for should be around TRL 3 to 4 (in-vitro pharmacology assay, experimental proof of concept, first lines of code).
